XML Alias Map

Here you will need to tell the connection manager which XML tags correspond to which elements in the form that the XML file(s) will be connected to.

The form will need the aliases of all fields shared by the XML file(s) and the form, as well as any repeating grids/sections that contain these fields.

Give the design name of the corresponding form element (e.g. DOCCON_MAINFORM_TITLE, not Document Title)

Finally, there is one special element called XML_DOCUMENT_BASE, and it must be included. If your XML file(s) will contain multiple documents and they should be separated in to their own forms, the XML tag that encloses each individual document should be declared as this element's alias.

If each XML file will only contain one document and there's no need for separate forms, just give the root XML tag as the alias.
